Laundry Tips for the Summer Season
Our summer temperatures soaring into the 30’s F and the 40’s C creates special needs for you to dry clean your clothes more often. As we run from our air conditioned homes to our air conditioned cars and into other air conditioned buildings, even a brief time outside will tend to make us wet. And our clothes are right next to our skin, and pick up any scents or wetness that we generate.
A smell test is not a good way to tell if your clothes need washing. We are used to our own smells, and often don’t even smell them. So here are three tips on when to bring your clothes in.
If you have worn your clothes outside in our summer temperatures, they might need washing.
If you have applied suntan lotion while wearing your clothes, or put your clothes on right after, the lotion might have soiled your clothes and need removing.
If you have worn your clothes out to a night of dancing, you might want to wash them and get them ready for next weekend’s fun.
